About this video

A cabride video from a JR Yamanote line train operated by E235 series from Ikebukuro station to Ueno station.

On November 16th, 2019 Yamanote line and Keihin Tohoku line was rerouted to a new route which goes through Takanawa Gateway station, scheduled to open in 2020, between Tamachi station and Shinagawa station. On the day of the reroute, operation of the Yamanote line between Ueno station and Tokyo station and Osaki station was suspended. This video was taken from a Yamanote line partly operated between Ueno station and Ikebukuro.

In regular service there are no trains finishing at Ueno station.
