The Yamanote line runs along with many other rail lines. On this section you can see many tracks and other trains passing by such as the Keihin Tohoku line, the Tokaido Shinkansen and the Tokaido line. There are many high-rise buildings in this area and can be seen along the Yamanote line too.

【01:00】After leaving Osaki station, the Tokaido Shinkanse joins from the right and runs along the Yamanote line until Tokyo station.

Running along with the Keihin Tohoku line

【01:30】Before approaching Shinagawa station, the Keihin Tohoku line and the Tokaido line joins from the right.

The Takanawa Gateway station and the new tracks

【03:50】After leaving Shinagawa station, a new set of tracks brach off to the right. These tracks lead to the Takanawa Gateway station which is currently under construction. On the next day the Yamanote line will be rerouted to these new tracks and the tracks currently used will be dismantled.

Tokyo station

【14:40】Before arriving Tokyo station, the brick built station building on the Marunouchi side of Tokyo station can be seen.
